2log x +3 log y- 5 log z
log x^2 +log y^3 - log z^5
= log (x^2y^3/z^5)

coefficients of 2 , 3 and 5 become powers on x, y and z

logx^2 + logy^3 - logz^5

add logs by multiplying the x^2 and y^3 and subtract the other log by dividing by z^5

answer: log(x^2y^3/ z^5)
