i mean is there some underlying reason to why they dont share the bed. . .and if so how did baby bear come to exist

Maybe the slept in the same bed before Baby Bear was born, and then when he was born they got separate beds because Baby Bear sleeps in the same room with them.

I heard from a little bird that they used to, but popa bear slept with the local friendly female bear and they now sleep in separate beds. Momma bear was making poridge when poppa bear and momma bear were arguing, baby bear ran off crying out the house and everyone gave chase. Thats why when they came back they were hungry and tired. Running makes anyone want food and sleep.
When poppa bear asked "whos been sleeping in my bed?" momma bear quietly mumbles under her voice "that stupid village prostitute bear i bet"

It seems poppa bear got caught doing what bears do in the forest, so momma bear threw him out of bed.

Maybe it's because the story was written in old times and it's a children's story.
Then again, if they didn't sleep in separate beds, Goldilocks wouldn't be able to say:-"This bed is too hard" "This bed is too soft" "This bed is just right." And that requires three beds for Goldilocks to say those lines.

Momma bear had a gender reassignment hence baby bear was adopted via a dubious private agency specialising in Eastern European orphans. Give us the cash no questions asked. due to his early years in a cold climate explains why his porridge was too cold.

those stories were written during a time that it wasn't considered proper to discuss two people inhabiting the same bed. Consider the old TV shows where the hubby and wife would have twin beds in the same room.

Maybe because baby bear slept in the same room and they didn't want him exposed to anything "adult".
Or perhaps they just like not having to fight for blankets or feet space.

that's really funny....well I'm sure that that's not something they were thinking of to go with the flow of three things. I mean if they were two, wouldn't that be strange? Probably to be age appropiate, etc. Nice question though!!!
