He was cremated and his urn is beside Yoko's bed. She also bronzed the shirt he was shot in so that a part of him was always in the apartment. She still resides at the Dakota to this day.

It wasn't cremated ffs! It was placed in a transparent liquid emulsion bath and then turned into a solid plasticised statue! Was sold as a art pience in 1997 for 2.2million!!
