A lot of nerds at my school don't believe that they are nerds. They think they are the exact oposite, popular. How can theythink this? Don't they notice that nobody talks to them or that they stink and wear ugly clothes? How can they ignore that there is a group of popular, clean, well-dressed people that everyone talks to and wants to join?

Actually, I am not a nerd but even though I don't like them much, I study hard and I am the smartest non-nerd.
Nerds are actually quite fun to hang out with.

Well its typical that some nerds think that because they know something about everything , they will be popular and that everyone will like them. The truth is in fact the opposite and why, most Nerds tend to think that being clever makes them a cut above the rest.
I went to school with two really nice nerds. their names were Christopher and Anthony. Now Chris, he was a pretty exceptional clever guy, high scores in everything and Anthony as well, but believe it or not they were two of the most quiet unassuming guys you could wish to meet and everyone liked them!
They did wear some really smart "normal" clothes( not a raincost in sight) & wore glasses, maybe they were "modern nerds" we are talking about 1979/1980. So nerds come and go, I take them as I find them. Its okay to be a smart *** but dont get up the nose of those less fortunate, thats my message to them.

im a nerd and i dont think im popular.i shower every night,people have genuinley said my clothes are good,my skin is relativley clear.i have lots of friends that i talk to.do you want to know what we talk about?how all the "popular" people in our school can thank the fact that they are so popular because they are skanks,potheads,football players hopped up on steroids,the list goes on and on.
im happy the way i am and not once have i ever wanted to be like a "popular" person becauase when they get out in the real world all that will amount to nothing.

Popular is clean and well dressed and everyone wants to talk to them? LOL Jesus would have been a nerd then.At work, we have a woman who considers herself "popular" when in actual truth, nobody likes her. They use her because she has inside gossip about what is going on in the factory since her husband works in the office.Everyone laughs behind her back.

I disliked people like you in high school. Why do you think you're better than anyone? What's fitting is that one day you'll be working for these so called nerds. You need to hit your schoolbooks missy, stop worrying about being cool and hanging with the IN crowd. Real life is coming for you soon! :-)~\

When you enter the real world you'll realize that your popularity means nothing, and those nerds will probably be your boss.
Wanna know what happened to all the popular girls at my school? They all got fat and never went anywhere in their life.

they've probably reached a point so low that their mind makes them believe they're popular just to get through the day lol!
