The biggest advantage to having a cup holder on the bike is if you leave with a full cup, you never, ever have to stop and hang around Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or any other poser central. Some of us have known this for years. At $85 a whack, I'm glad I made my own.
Funny thing about all these negatives - I never hear them in real life. Hardly anything beats a good, hot cup when you want one. Not having to stop for it lets me keep riding.
Coffee is good for tailgaters as well. Especially if it has cream.

Been riding for 45 Years. I have a 2001 Electra glide that I've riden for better than a 110,000 miles. At 15 miles I put a cup holder on it and never had a problem. They have mugs with lids on them that open and close with the flip of a finger. So either at a red light or running down the road at 80 mile an hour ," NO PROBLEM." (With or without a Windshield) RIDE SAFE LOUD PIPES DON'T SAVE LIVES IF YOU BELIEVE IN THAT IT'S GONNA GET YOU KILLED." BE DEFENSIVE

Sure I have a crome cup holder mounted to the handle bars on the left side, its on a side swivel. Don't let a these so called riders get you down. I was on my Road King today in NH for 2 hours, its cold and windy and a hot cup of joe makes a cold ride a tad easier. Thank god for wind shields.

Now if a guy on a R 1 asked this, everybody would crucify that poor soul.
Besides it would have to be a bigger cup so it could hold 44oz. of Mountain Dew!!!

Haven't seen it from hd, but there are jobbers out there that bolt on to your bars... probably best to be behind a windshield unless you'd ike the wind to siphon hot coffee out all over you

I've got a Nissan Stainless insulated commuter mug with a big hook like handle and a dribble lid.
It holds 16oz. and keeps it hot.
The big handle will hook through your belt or hang in a jacket pocket. Works great for me ,

I think you and HD William should "get together" on this one. Your obviously gay...with your little rainbow in the background and William dresses like one of the Village People.

You're going to need a sippy and a straw if you're trying to get coffee through the front of your full-face helmet. Suggestion: Don't be moving when you're drinking coffee.

Your bike should be taken away from you! First of all its dangerous second of all with all the wind its impossible to do without spilling and second of all and this is most important you will look absolutely STUPID!!!
I hate to repeat the guy above me but you are a poser and your bike should be taken away from you. Buy a scooter or hybryd civic or something.
