This wasn't exactly a present....

I'm the oldest of 8 siblings and when I was 12 I got to stay up with our parents and help get "Christmas" ready for the younger ones.

That was one of the best presents they could have given me.

when i was about 7, my parents told my two sisters (11 and 15) to go look out the window. when we did, we saw a 14 ft trampoline! my parents had stayed up all night putting it together in the snow so that we would be surprised! of course, we couldn't use it until the snow melted, but we had it for years and i loved it!

and high-five on the rainbow brite! the 80's were so much more fun lol

Living in the country my best gift was a pair of snowshoes. I spent more time outdoors drove my family crazy. I'd throw on a pack with my camera and some food a blanket and fire starting kit and disappear for hours. coming home well after dark.

The Barbie dream boat cruise ship. I was so excited when Santa delivered that to me one year. I also remember getting the Mandy dolls. Loved those also. My grandma also gave me an angel ornament every year since I was born. My collection is huge. Happy Holidays!

A Barbie Camground that my mother made for me. She sewed the tents, and sleeping bags (complete with zippers) made a ceramic fireplace that had pieces of cloth hangeres for the grill, and the base was wood with holes drilled to hold up the tent poles. It has a pup tent for Ken and a bakers tent for Barbie and the rest of the girls.
