In 1662, the area now know as Columbus was a wilderness
bounded by the Scioto and Olentangy Rivers. It was part of the homeland of the Delaware and Shawnee tribes. Before them was a people known as "The Mound Builders" Things were fairly calm.

There is no 1662 Columbus Street, Avenue, Circle, Boulevard or Drive in Cincinnati if that is what you were asking.
