I'm looking for a site where I will have to pay a fixed monthly fee to download music. Any suggestions?

Napster gives you as many downloads as you want for around £15 a month (though I'm sure you can get it in the US too) which you can transfer to your MP3 player (as long as it's compatable) as long as you're a subscriber. However, as soon as you cancel your subscription your music stops working.

you should do the same as me to join Napster, it is only cost you $9 per month and you can download unlimited music to your mp3 or iPod!

Best news, they are having a 7 days free trial which you can try out the download services for 7 days totally free of charge, and you can cancel it if they don't meet your requirement.

Get your Napster free trial coupon here.

If it's offered by the artist, perhaps on their website, then no, it's not stealing...If you're using limewire or something like it, it is technically stealing. But you can avoid being sued rather easily...just move the files into your library on your media player. Then who's to say you didn't upload the music from your own CDs.

Try:

http://www.emule.com

It's free. Why do you want to pay money when you can download music for free?
This is my suggestion, but if you want to choose any other answer, that's fine by me...
I don't know any such websites, I download my music on Emule. And there are no viruses.
Consider my offer :)
Good luck!

not sure how napster works these days, but i think rhapsody makes your songs disappear (or become unplayable) when you end your subscription. emusic may be a good alternative--perhaps not quite as extensive of a catalogue, but still pretty solid, you get mp3s, and can get 100 downloads in your first free month.

napster

Oh and Thelma, I'm glad your saving money with Limewire. That way you can pay the Law Suit that's coming your way (LOL).
