The Sun (in Canada as everywhere else in the world) is at 246° ecliptic longitude today (November 28, 2007). And as always, the Sun's ecliptic latitude is zero.

That puts the Sun in the constellation Scorpius.

The Astrological "signs" (which have not been aligned with the constellations for 2000 years) start with Aries at 0-30° and move forward in the conventional way. So astrologically, the Sun is in the sign of Sagittarius.

The Sun is currently in the constellation Ophiuchus. It makes no difference where you observe it from.

Of course, that's astronomically speaking. Maybe the astrologers do it differently, as they don't bother ever actually observing the sky or anything. Everything astrological is ********.

I think you are in the wrong area. You should go ask people who care about stuff that doesn't make sense.
