O.K. Heres mine. Yes. I was told he was nice, not bad looking. I answer the door and heres this guy with an orange shirt, purple cords and an Adams apple the size of a baseball. Tall and too skinny for his height. He sounded like Elmer Fudd and nasty. Oh, I can't forget the Monkee belt { remember those?} I left early and Never Ever did I do that again . All I could think was if this is your idea of not bad looking, what the heck was good looking? Not stupid twice thats for sure!!!

I did when I was in college I was set up on a blind date. It was the most horrible experience of my dating ever. I thought the night would never end, and the girl really liked me. I never wanted to see her again, and never did.

My sis is a year younger than I and when we were 17 and 18 I was home watching TV and she came running in the house and had a date that needed a partner. I told her I didn't have any clean jeans. Well, she wore a size smaller than me and I squeezed into them and lo and behold they chose to go to the drive-in to see the "Longest Day", which turned out to be the longest night for me. I was so miserable and couldn't eat or drink anything and kept squirming around. I was so glad to get home and take off those tight jeans. Needless to say I didn't hear from him again. That was really funny!!

I went out on a blind date once. We got married, had three sons, became grandparents to five, then divorced thirty eight years later. We have remained on good terms, especially for the sake of our family.

Oh my yes I did. It was the longest date of my life. Never ever do that again. And don`t answer personal ads either. Too many desperate people out there. That is where I found him.

Blind dates are just plain scary, but it gets a lot worse when you meet them and discover they are far from even the most meager of hopes you had for them to be what you wanted.
