No, I'm not looking forward to Christmas this year one little bit. I think I could do with a break from it for a couple of years. I've been organising Christmas for 15 years and the novelty has worn off. It's not as much fun when the kids don't believe in Father Christmas anymore - the fun and magic have gone.

Edit:
I'm reading all the other answers where everyone seems to be looking forward to meeting up with family and friends and all that, we do that anyway throughout the year regularly. Birthdays feel more special to me now. Not my own birthday but friends and family. I would rather focus on their special day and make a fuss and spend a little more on them on their birthday I think. It seems a little forced at Christmas. Oh. ignore me - I'm just being a humbug this year. I'll get over it. I hope you all have a bloody lovely Christmas!

I am! The thing i look forward to the most is the general atmosphere - everyone smiling, being able to drink what you want and eat what you want, cheesy xmas music, the office party!

And also the stuff on the telly - xmas day soaps, xmas films like home alone II, Miracle on 31st street and Its a wonderful life, and of course christmas wouldnt be christmas without The Snowman :)

Absolutely! I am looking forward to Christmas because I love family. My family is just a joy to be around. They keep me centered and focused.

I also love celebrating the birth of Jesus! Everything looks better at Christmas time.

YES! I started dating this year (after not dating for a couple of decades -- hey, I am the survivor of a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent sociopath AND also a Long Term Single Parent of TWO children with disabilities and mental health problems) ...

and my Special Someone (who is kind, gentle, caring and loving) is coming to MY HOME for the Holidays --

and we are just going to enjoy each other's company, get to know each other much better, share time together (and chores too -- he even said he wants to share every chore! What a BONUS!) ....

We will (FINALLY!) get to relax, no pressure (we both decided no exchange of presents), no Toxic People around us, and just enjoy each other's company on Christmas as well as New Year's Day too!

I am DEFINITELY Looking Forward to his arrival at MY HOME ... it is so Exciting!

Yes.. it's my 3 month old son's first Christmas.. it's so much fun wrapping gifts and buying little keepsakes for him.. even though he doesn't really know it's the holidays yet.. we can still take lots of pictures! Also, this year we are living close to my family again and last year we lived 3,000 miles away and had to travel by plane during Christmas. It was such chaos.

Absolutely, I'm already into Christmas. "It's the most wonderful time of the year!" If you have to ask why, then you need to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" w/Jimmy Stewart.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. It's when family and friends gather together to celebrate the festive season. It's so exciting to see each other, exchange presents and make memories.

I am because I cannot wait to give the presents I bought to the people I love and care about to see their reaction. I love the decorations and the music. It's a happy time.
