it wasn't a wig in the beginning. It became a wig later when he started keeping his hair shorter.

I didn't know he wore a wig... but he probably didn't like the idea of walking around with a 70's hairdo so therefore he used the wig for the show.

He is not wearing a wig!! and if so have you ever seen topher grace? He does have hair but he may have to keep it short for movies he is in. Not everyone wants to look like the character they play on TV he does have a life outside of it and it wouldnt be his choice anyway it would be the directers or producers choice. But I dont think he does.

Perhaps Topher Grace had hard to manage hair or it was very curly and they needed a different look. Out comes the wig.
