I have been seriously stressed out lately and for the past few days, I have thrown up. I will be fine one minute and the next minute I get that nauseated feeling and then I will end up vomiting. Does stress cause this?

BTW, I am not stressed like this on a daily basis. Just lately because my hubby wants a divorce.

yes,

it also causes heart palpitations, headaches, panic attacks, and in extreme cases heart attacks.

Block out some time in your day to just sit and relax for 5 or 10 minutes. Don't read, don't watch tv, don't think, just sit quietly and focus on your breathing--long slow steady breaths.

Take the time to research different, constructive ways for you to destress.

Yea stress can cause that. Thats why some ppl vomit or get diarrhea when they are nervous HOWEVER if its happening often then you should see your doctor b/c throwing up everyday can cause SERIOUS damage to your esophagus over time and i'm pretty sure you dont want that.

Yes it can. Stress manifests itself differently in every person. I am deathly afraid of needles, and I always throw up the night before I get vaccinated. My pressure drops too and I sometimes feel lightheaded.

yes, stress can also make you extremly sick. I know it happens to me. Try going somewhere relaxing, or just sit outside and listen to all that is around you. Try yoga or sipping tea with a good book.

Yes, stress can take a toll on you physically. It can very much make you physically ill - throwing up, hives...anything....just depends on how your body reacts.

yes... stress messes your body up pretty bad... if it gets too bad your hair might start to thin out... find an outlet (play a game or go to the park by yourself and just relax... or get a stress ball...yell do something!)

dont pay attention to the person who said they think its weird... when you get nervous your nervous system goes into shock and causes you to feel nausiated. how do i know? it happens to me! lol heres an easy example to make you know your fine... youve seen all the movies and heard all the songs about girls getting butterflies in there stomach! when they see a guy they like so... this is the same thing. no worries
