i need to compose using saxophone in cubase however i dont have a saxophone plug-in voice.. i only have orchestral instruments.
does anyone know if there are any orchestral instruments which i can use to pass off as a saxophone
or which sound similar to the saxophone??
please help, im stuck to a dead line :'(

You're probably best off using the standard midi for a saxophone - it's one of the more "realistic" (though I use that word hesitantly) midi sounds.
The oboe sounds surprisingly like a soprano saxophone - but probably not in midi. Others to investigate would be clarinet or cor anglais, though they really don't sound much like it.
Trumpets really don't sound anything like the saxophone, but it's just possible your horn plugin may sound a tiny bit like it. If your pipe organ has more than one setting there may be a stopper that sounds vaguely like a saxophone.

I think the answer to your question has to be no. The saxophone has a quite unique sound, owing to the combination of a reeded mouthpiece with a brass body. No other instrument is going to provide even a close approximation, with the exception of the oboe / sop. sax pairing already mentioned.
If you're absolutely stuck, try a basset horn, english horn, or bass clarinet.

A trumpet sounds almost nothing like a saxophone. Your best bet would be to go with another reed instrument.

The piano isn't a classical tool. you are able to play any form of song on a piano. the only different gadgets that could play greater effective than one observe concurrently are the stringed gadgets (violin, viola, cello and bass). upload to that guitar and appropriate gadgets (like the lute case in point), the organ and that's approximately it. Theoretically, in case you have 3 wind gamers (each play a diverse observe of the chord) you would be able to desire to play chords with those gadgets too.
