Mark H, I know a few Pats fans in Va area & they are from Boston & they look nothing like what you described. They look more like Danny DeVito & Rhea Pearlman. Some of their fans are decent but then there are the really arrogant ones who boldly brag about how the Super Bowl trophy should be just giiven to them & they are unbeatable & superior to all other teams. Philadelphia put a scare of the Pats & their fans & don't assume the perfect season is a gimme, because you still have to play the Steelers & Jaguars & you could possibly meet the Colts in post season & lose. It's hard to beat a team twice in a season especially if the team's QB is Peyton Manning. If they go 16-0 & win Super Bowl, my congrats go to the team, but they still have a few more games to paly & win

Seriously though, New England sports fans take criticism of our teams very seriously. The problem this year is that there are so many haters who choose to believe speculation and ignore facts. That bothers us. I respect other people's opinions, however, don't call me ignorant because I support my home team despite a poor choice of camera location in game 1.
So many people want to make themselves feel better about their home team by calling the Patriots "Cheaters" and say they're "No good for the NFL", but I challenge ANYBODY to give me proof that they in fact cheated this year. The camera that was confiscated during the Jets game wasn't filming illegal things, anybody can film defensive signals, cheerleaders, coaches, players, whatever. The camera was confiscated for being in an unauthorized location. The commissioner's office has repeatedly confirmed that it gave the Patriots "No competitive advantage".
Now, armed with facts, I hope you can understand why we as a group get so defensive about our favorite team. And yes, I'll acknowledge there are certainly some who come off as arrogant and rude, but don't classify us all by a few jackasses.

The New England Patriots* were caught breaking a clearly written rule that was stressed in the league's summer meetings. The head coach was fined $500,000. The owner was fined $250,000 and the team had one pick taken away from next years draft. The Commissioner of the league openly admitted that suspension of the head coach had been considered.
Yet, even after this, they act as if it was no big deal and "every team does it." They want it all to just disappear or that we (fans of other NFL teams) should all get over it. It happened. It's an enormous black eye on the NFL and the past, current, and future success of the Patriots as long as Bill Belichick is the head coach is tainted. But they even deny the taint. What does that tell you about them?

I support my team, just as you do yours.
How does that make me stuck up? Most of the questions I ask really have nothing to do with the Patriots. Most of the answers I give about them are in response to comments first made by other people. I agree that some are ******* but there are just as many for other teams as well.

No, we are not. There are some ******* out there for sure. Most teams have them. You don't know me, so don't judge me. I am far from stuck up and rude. When someone bashes my team I will get defensive and fight back with the same attitude that is given to me in the first place. You would do the same. Have you ever tried to get to know me? No. So like I said, don't judge me unless you know me. I would like to see how you all woulc act if people bashed your team 24-7 and wish that your players break their legs and die in a plane crash. A team that I have followed for 30 years and have had season ticket for over two decades. Let me know how that would make you feel.
P.S, I find it funny how everyone gives RUSH thumbs up. If you go to his history, you will see he cuts and pastes the same paragraph over and over. It's amazing how you idolize that. Idolize a Colts fan who is just jealous and obsesses over the Patriots. Maybe you should all be judging yourself.

most of them on here are their are a few that are ok but for the most part they are arrogant idiots and the fact they dont want to recognize just how much of a black eye for the nfl they have become amazes me, and its just not this years cheating thats the question, its bigger than that i only hope the truth really comes out one day so they can realize just how much damage they have done to the nfl and the respect that is due to other players, teams, coaches and ownership of all the other teams and also maybe realize the nfl wasent invented in 2001

patriots fans are superior people, because their team is superior... if you ever meet a patriot fan you will understand, you will immediately notice the sophistication and good physical appearance... male patriot fans are very healthy looking with well conditioned bodies, while the body of the female patriot fan is soft and supple, with beautiful curvature, perfect *** and proportional breasts... often blue eyed and light features with perfectly spaced eyes...

Chowderheads are in their own world. Sometimes they have "little man syndrome" because they've always been in the shadow of the Yankees so when they have a winner like now with the Pats, the bandwagon gets bigger. It's human nature really. They're all pretty decent people prolly, just have to wade through the individual BS and see if it's S or Shinola.
