I am sure Hillary will come out and say she was for it all along, now that the surge is working so well and the end results look promising.

Well, ultimately what the Democrats have to say is that yes we are winning the war, but what is the point of winning?
If we wage war against Spain for absolutely no reason and win, it is still a bad war regardless of the fact that we won.
The Iraq war has tossed out a dictator, but it is obvious that these "liberated" Iraqis don't like the US. There is no terrorism, WMD's, or threats to national security from Iraq. The Iraq war was purposeless. So good job Bush you might just win a war that had no purpose.

Iraq war is going well? Those are a few words that should never even be entered into the same sentence together! I am appalled!!

Soldiers are dying every day. We've lost so many lives over oil or whatever other sick twisted reason Bush and his cronies decided to wreak havoc over.

This war is not only failing terribly, it is illegal! We entered this war under false pretenses! People will reply that they attacked us first on 9/11 but that's so far from the truth!! We have been over there bombing them since the early '90s, and their attack on us on 9/11 was just a retaliation of us getting involved where we DON'T belong.

Some say we had to attack them because they had "weapons of mass destruction" - are you kidding me?! I'm pretty sure if they had "weapons of mass destruction" then they would've used them against us on 9/11 instead of having to hijack OUR planes to use them against us. Does that make any sense? NO! If they had weapons of mass destruction they wouldnt've had to resort to stealing our own planes and hurting us with them. C'mon now. It doesn't take a rocket scientist.

Not to mention, if they were so worried about terrorists in iraq coming over the border and "terrorizing" us then they wouldnt've left mexicos border wiiiiideee open for so long.

You'd be a hypocrite if you're against the war and voted for Hillary..she originially voted FOR the war, as did ALL other Democratic candidates besides Dennis Kucinich. And you would be a hypocrite if you're against the Patrior Act and vote for someone who voted FOR it, which again is all of the democratic candidates besides Kucinich. Guess what? Ron Paul voted for neither the war or for the patriot act. His record stands as true 10 years ago as it does today!

Vote for Ron Paul! He is the ONLY one who speaks these TRUTHS and has CONSISTENTLY!!!!

They still maintain their platform is that Iraq is going badly. They can't change their minds now, they're too committed.

Just look at the increased number of lies that have come out about it in the last few weeks, even as some of the mainstream media, like the New York Times, has finally started to acknowledge that we're doing well.

They have to lie and keep trying to keep the people in the dark, or else it will be evident that they have spent their time before doing that.

The surge worked!! The war is over! US troops start coming home tomorrow and Iraq stands as a shining beacon of democracy, serving as a role model for all of the Middle East! The surge will go down as one of the great and glorious tide-turning victories in the Iraq war, equal in success to the Battle of Baghdad (6+ years ago) and the Battle for Fallujah (4+ years ago)!! Mission Accomplished!!

Seize the means of production.
Brotherhood, unity, equality. Death to capitalists. Religion is the opium of the people. Only the earth is sacred. Eradicate individualism. Re-educate children. America is evil.

...or something along these lines.

No matter how much the Democrats try to refine their image, their true colors (red!) come out eventually.

The majority of people don't see a fall in deaths as going well. they see someday being able to leave as going well. We will not be able to leave any time in the near future, so I don't see the Democrats platform changing.
