Wow I understand this question in that sometimes when finding something about another of what you know its fearful and at the same time the future is scary because we do not know ...so which is most fearful good question I guess not knowing will always tend to place fear of the unknown and we as humans work ourselves up to this.....
but then again if I knew something about another and I continued in the situation because I could not stop my self thats bad to see my point
I never fear what I know its better to always know the reality of any thing that is with anything in life and the eternal...

What I know I can do something about. So there's no reason to fear.
But all the more, I have no reason to fear the things I don't know about. Imagined fear is useless. Tomorrow is God's care not ours.

I fear the known.
The unknown is hard to fear when you don't know what it is to fear.
I fear the known... example:
The current state of affairs in the US (look at Bush).
The declining US dollar
Violence and crime.
Watching forensic files and realizing most people are murdered by friends and neighbors, not random folks.

I fear my own knowledge.
Knowing things is the worst curse there is, because our own answers can cause us great distress, as the emotional spite and disgust in facts can make us feel sick to the stomach by jusa thinking about them. As it is always said, ignorance is bliss.
ex: Hitler's concentration camps, an acid chamber melted people down to a pile of carbon concentrated sludge.

fear is for fools
we are all going to live and die some how some way and we can only do what we can do
i don't buy into the idea that
"the gobble-uns 'il git ye eff ye don't watch out."
and i believe that boogy men are invented
(osama being a boogy man invented by the clinton administration)

I fear most about things I don't know, because my stupid brain makes up all the worst possible outcomes of whatever it is I'm still thinking about.

Ignorance is bliss. It's hard to fear something you have no prior knowledge of. What you know can only be scary if you don't use your knowledge to change it. For example, I know that gas prices are rising and so is pollution. Knowing this is scary so to help change it I car pool and recycle.

i think, depending on the circumstances, i can fear both equally, simply knowing something doesnt take away all the fear, and not knowing something doesnt always cause fear

Trapped people fear the unknown. because they have been taught to.
Successful people seek out the unknown cautiously but intentionally. Because they have been taught to.
