Yes, it was great fun. Me and my brother made all sorts of imaginative things with them when we were kids.

No, we played Lincoln Logs, and Tinker Toys but remember I am old. No Lego's around in the 50's

YES! Our family used to own a massive old school double Decker bus with all the seats ripped out, and the whole floor was FILLED literally with thousands of pieces of Lego....
Omg it was just like, the coolest funnest thing you have ever seen! We used to sit there for hours making space ships and houses and cars..... In a bus!!!
Doesn't get much better than that for a kid....

I never got any as a kid but my kids did. My granddaughters have all of theirs plus a ton of their own. Good idea! I think will get them out! I love that Lego store in Chicago and all the cool sculptures in the mezzanine. I don't know if it is really a mezzanine, I just wanted to use that word in a sentence.

Yes I had this Lego police boat that would float in the bathtub. I thought it was cool at the time.

I played with Legos and always built houses...
funny, I didn't remembr that until just now..
I never let my kids play with them, though. Those things are "toilet bait".
