I do not look forward to colds/flus but surely love the good night sleep I can get with NyQuil or even Advil PM for that matter :)

The NyQuil is never worth the cold/flu.

NyQuil has lost some of its punch since they took out the decongestant. It works well when I am sick, it puts me right to sleep. However, I get a hangover effect from it the next day. It takes me a day or two to stop feeling dopey.
I do not like feeling dopey but I understand what you mean about the feeling you get when you are sick, take a dose and lie down in bed. A warm feeling sweeps over you like being in your mother's arms.
