Computers have changed norms just as any type of technology brought into society. Norms that have changed or have been impacted are things as simple as keeping in touch with some via email, email etiquette i.e: DON"T YELL, the way bills, shopping etc is all done. Anything we use computers for fixing cars up to nuclear weapons, computers have changed the norms. For instance taking driving .. when the car was invented there were no rules of the road, the norms had to catch up "cultural lag".. so the first drivers were driving thru fields then society changed their laws/ norms to accommodate the car stop signs, roads speed limits etc.

Computers are having an impact more and more everyday. It won't be long till everyone will have a chip in them and someone will no where you are at at all times. It will start at work. The boss will want to know what you are doing on his time, it will snowball, I am afraid the impact is far greater than we are going to want it to be...
