Here's an intelligent answer:

I'm looking at his name and wondering if he's a Jamaican. He is from Florida and his name sounds very Jamaican. His family may have originated from there. He may have gotten rid of his guns after the whole incident with T.I. and Vick. He may have had a cutlass, or machete with him because most West Indians love to use them for self-defense. He wasn't asking for trouble...he actually probably needed to be armed.

Oh well.

He had a machete in his house because it was the second time in like 3 months(or even less) that someone tried to burglarize him! Also, someone from the Broncos (or another NFL player anyway) was killed in the same neighborhood last year. Sounds like he was protecting himself/his family. You didnt wonder why Tupac had a gun on him when he was shot did ya? Dumbass. Let the man rest!

For the same reason that 98% of Americans own fire arms - protection. It's legal to have one so I don't see what bearing that could possibly have on anything.

Perhaps you're one of those new school liberals who think that people don't have a right to defend their property and their families but most people don't agree. Let the man rest in peace and leave it alone.

1. You're stupid.

2. I'm Hispanic. My dad keeps a machete in his house for YARD WORK! (lives in Miami, had it in Puerto Rico). Most homes in Miami and Latin America HAVE a machete.

3. You're still stupid.

Collin Cohward and Stephen A. Smith.
They will detail this best

Machetes and/or swords are used as decorations or are souvenirs from trips. My sister gave me one after she came back from doing missionary work in Guatemala....

Why does that mean he's asking for trouble? I own a few firearms for hunting... does that mean I'm looking for WWIII?

What, you mean my having a machete entitles someone to just up and kill me? Son of a (b)itch, those weeds I hacked with that machete must have REALLY gotten perturbed at my gardening efforts! Guess I better get rid of my axe and forgo splitting firewood and sell off my chainsaw and - um - what was your point, anyway?

Why has no one stated the real reason - because he was a piece of trash thug who would spit in peoples faces during a game, and cause trouble after. No R.I.P. and "thoughts and prayers" from me. He sounds like a horrible person who is only liked because he is an athlete. If he was a janitor at Jiffy Lube, you would all agree with me.
