there has been much talk about Planet X's (Nibiru's) arrival in February 2013 (ref: http://www.yowusa.com ).

What do you think about the Jupiter Event that may occur within the next few weeks (around Christmas 2007)? (ref: http://abundanthope.net/pages/article_856.shtml)

Man, that stuff is weird. I think it's a send-up. You don't seriously believe it, do you?

Nibiru does not exist. A planet cannot simply appear without being spotted. If it is due to arrive in a few years it should already have shown its presence if not by being seen directly then by its gravitational effect. Remember, we can see a lump of ice and rock smaller than our Moon out beyond the orbit of Neptune directly, and two hundred years ago the effect of Neptune's gravity on the orbit of Uranus was observed (which is what led to Neptune's discovery in the first place).

And there' won't be a Jupiter event either, even though I can't read the link because it is broken.

Your link to the Jupiter event is broken. I have not heard of any Jupiter event, but there was a book in 1974 called the Jupiter effect that predicted all kinds of disasters on Earth in 1982 due to the position of the planets. 1982 passed with no disasters and the authors of the book were made to look like fools. Don't be a fool, ignore this bogus nonsense. It is all false.

In fairness to John Gribbin (co-author of The Jupiter Effect), he did repudiate the theory 2 years before the event was due to happen - though not before the book had sold a lot of copies!
