Well, certainly a big part of running a business involves communicating with your relevant publics, so I can see that relationship, but since you also have the education major, I'm wondering if YOU fully understand what you want to do after getting the MBA? Your degrees should be a matter of how well you can justify them to others, but how well they help you.

It depends what you are planning to do with the MBA.

If you are going to have a financial or leadership focus within your MBA, then you could choose a profession in the business/management side of media outlets. Every media outlet that employs salaried workers is also a business.

If you are going to focus on marketing within your MBA, then part of your profession would be researching what consumers want and probably communicating with them to obtain this information. So having a knowledge in mass communication might be beneficial in that way, as you would know the best methods of how to communicate with these target groups.

That's my best shot.

The first one is my final choice, but the last is also an answer.
