I only remember the 1988 version starring Ricki Lake. That movie was classic.

I have watched both of the movies (new and old). I loved both of them. I am torn, though, as to which movie was better. There are pros and cons to both. But I agree, those that haven't ever watched it definately need to check it out!!!!

Well, I really enjoyed the original. When the remake comes out on DVD, you bet I'm going to watch it.

I didn't like it at all. In fact, I left 3/4 of the way through it. I just found it way too corny for my liking. Just my opinion.

Totally agree with you. It was so fun! I liked all of the different issues they brought up! It was too cute!
