My friend works online as a doc finishing thesis.She came in contact with old family friend(son),best friend from years & in love.Shes got no choice but to finish work.
This mans mid 30s single busy works as doc powerful rich his folks abadoned so lived with his friends went abroad later.He loves her very much but cant express show feelings emotions due to his past.He gets angry & calls names as hes so in love with her hes angry upset with himself thinks everything will turn out like his past.Its holidays hes alone.She invited him over for xmas he said she could wait for him he wouldnt come she said shell wait.Hes there when she was in hospital & shes there for him.He loves her very much its cursing tearing hurting him inside but due to his past cant express show his feelings.She tries to reach out heal old wounds he'll reciprocate.Hes a good man with past who loves her.They might meet for xmas.

He needs a psychologist or therapist to help him get over some of his past wounds and experiences, or at least how to handle them. It looks like to me that she is putting up with a lot of b.s. in order to keep this guy. I know you said that he was there for her at the hospital but anyone can do that, yanno?
She should date him, not get too serious, and see if they can get him some help in how to deal with relationships. Can she imagine herself 10 years down the road with a guy who has a hard time showing emotion or affection with an inability to relate his feelings? Does she want his man to be the father to her children and pass on some of his traits to them?
She should ask herself these questions and think about what she wants and if it's worth it.

I agree that counseling is in order here, perhaps couples counseling would be the best solution, if the man is willing, if not, then the woman needs to leave this alone, it is unhealthy the way it sets for now.

She needs to RUN!!! You cannot "HELP" change anyone!
She needs counseling to realize that she deserve a real man that will treat her well. He needs to grow up. Real Women need Real Men, not boy/children who have issues. Everyone has issues.
Leave this selfish jerk to be miserable by himself!
