Well, for starters, if he's looking for it, he most likely has already downloaded some onto the computer-and that is a felony. If you don't say something and you know about it, you could be in trouble right long with him my dear! Disconnect that computer when he's at work and take it down to the police station and talk to a detective (don't waste time with a patrolman) who will take action, not just a report to be filed!

Report it!
Not only to stop him from looking at it - which is disgusting by the way.
But also to get it off the net!
As long as there are people like your husband who will look, there will be people who will post.
Then, consult a psychologist. If you can't get your husband to go, then you go and discuss this with someone who can help you figure out why your husband is interested in this demoralizing, disrespectful industry that does nothing but ruin the lives of the children.
Good Luck

The first thing I would do is leave.
No one looks at child porn and is a good person.
He is probably going to get caught and you don't know what else he may be doing.
I wouldn't hesitate if I found that stuff on my computer, especially if police took the computer and could get me all messed up legally too.
Get rid of him, I wouldn't care how many years I spent with someone.

I wouldn't be too happy and would confront him....being that we have talked extensively about this very subject...we don't look at pornography....because we wouldn't want each other viewing the crap....
EDIT: Just noticed where you said CHILD pornography....That would be a different story....That would be grounds for DIVORCE...No questions about it!!!

I'd leave. That is 100% unacceptable, and there is no way to work that out. I could never be with a person who looks at something that harms and disturbs so many children around the world. That is a definite no-no.

call the police and inform them of the situation.your husband is sick and i'm not being funny.grown people who exploit children for sex or personal pleasure are breaking the law.if you keep quiet, would'nt you be just as guilty if a child was sexually assaulted or worse by your husband.don't be the one to say "i should, coulda, did'nt,and now someone else paid the price for my silence".
I HEAR THE LIES AND ALIBI'S AS I STAND IN THE RAIN
I AM IN DISTRESS FROM THIS MESS AS KIDS SCREAM IN PAIN
BECAUSE OF MY SILENCE
I TIPPED THE BALANCE
AND ANOTHER CHILHOOD LIFE IS LOST
I HAD NOT FORSEEN THAT IT WAS MEAN
TO LET CHILDREN PAY THE COST
I STOOD ABOVE HIM
EVEN THOUGH I LOVED HIM
AS I WATCH HIM DESTROY A CHILD
I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FINE
AND GO AWAY IN TIME
BUT HIS NEXT CHILD VICTIM WAS MINE.
P.S. I WRITE POETRY ABOUT ALOT OF THINGS.THIS IS FOR YOU TO SEE THIS AS A PROBLEM BEFORE IT BECOMES A DISASTER.

child porn is sick and illegal. If my husband was looking at it, I'd leave right away. I don't have kids with him yet, and If I caught him with it, I wouldn't want to have kids with him. What makes you think he won't do something to your children? Plus, If my husband looked at that stuff, and it stayed in our computer, I could get fired if it was found. I work at a daycare, and if he caused me to get fired over something sick and gross that HE did, I'd be pissed. Protect your children of future children, and get away fast.

I'd leave him and report him to the authorities....I have a daughter and if she were ever molested by him or anyone for that matter, there would be no trial for them because they wouldn't live to see that day. But none the less, I'd leave because I wouldn't knowingly put my child at risk.

I agree...you should report him. I understand he's your husband & you love him...but people with those kinds of problems need help. And a lot of them do not go get it on their own. You need to help him! Maybe seek counseling before going straight to authorities.
Uhhhh, I really hope you don't have your own children.

Honestly?
If he had ANY intention to harm a child. (which DOES include watching child pornography) I would simply castrate him.
