Never mind the article. I just stuck it in there to be ignored, as you have so astutely ascertained. :P

Hoptoad City, however, seems to have made the quite reasonable assumption that the article served a purpose. :)

Although he seems to have missed the fact that the article exposes the fallacy behind the conservative "conscience."

Yeah, steroid-type, that's all I read. Just like all you read or listen to is fascist bullshit. (_*_)

Ross: Conservatism is still a scam, whether it's the neocon version, the "New Democrat" version, or the Goldwater/Buckley/Paul version. They all stand for screwing citizens in favor of corporations. It's just a matter of degree.

I am voting against the pro-war Republican status quo, so any Dem will get my vote this time around.

is that all you read? one-sided liberal rhetoric websites?

How do you know what I believe?

The Liberals in this country are out of control. You call me a fascist? You don't even know me. I work my tail off trying to get ahead and take care of my family, give a great deal of my time and money to charity, and simply believe that government should be small. The extreme Left believes I am evil because I am taxed to death and simply cannot pay any more. You are the problem. Name calling, arrogant, know-it-all, who has all the answers. Liberal policies create poverty! Come to Buffalo where we have every single program in the book and try to defend it. Keep handing them everything and see the results. More uneducated than ever. More violent than ever. ALL LIBERAL POLICIES. We have never had a Conservative, so don't try to blame them. They're the ones who give all the cash to local charities. People like you don't even know what's going on.

NPR, CNN, ABC News, and FOX (and they are all full of bias), and I read all political columns every day (both sides). I guess they are all fascist. Look in the mirror before it's too late. Do you want to spend the rest of your life attacking people believing that they are the fascist?

every single link you provide is a liberal website.

I am simply voting for the lesser of the two evils. The article points out that you cannot trust anyones point of views about political ideology or promises and that you can only trust yourself. There are so many issues, there is no way that a voter can agree with everything that a candidate stands for. So what to do?
You simply have to base your vote on one thing. Do I want less government so I can make decisions for myself, or do I want more government so they can make decisions for me?
My answer?
I choose less government so I can decide what to do with the money I earn rather than the government deciding for me and squandering the majority of it.

Yes, clearly. I am voting for whoever runs against Hillary if she gets the nomination.

All the candidates suck. I believe Illegal Immigration is the biggest issue, it is depressing everyones wages and is not fair to immigrants who come to America Legally

I'm voting for classic Conservatism, not neo-convictism, I'm voting for Ron Paul.
