In my private silence, I am observing the need for the length of what is being told me, then try the way of compassion to pay abeyance to the trust the other person has allowed me - to hear what he or she is telling me.
Compassion then becomes a state of understanding, and the hands of the clock no longer make a difference, as to the time spent.
When the person has told their story . . should they ask of me; "Is this taking too long?" I smile and say, "we all have our paces. Respect is required in civility. .go ahead, continue!"

I can truthfully say I have not had that happen because when I do something, it is done right, and I do it in a timely fashion, but if they do say that, then I would tell them, if you want it done right then please be patient or get somebody else.
