But when someone like a Kucinich or a Ron Paul comes along, or a Joe Binden, and run for government...why is it that people dont elect them?

It would be easy to do this....yet people always seem to choose the candidates that continue the liars circle.

When is america going to wake up and get a real leader like kucinich or Ron Paul in office?

Yes, we expect politicians to lie, or at least to compromise. Some of the things that end up being lies are not intended as such (campaign promises that can't be achieved).

People like Ron Paul have done a good job of marginalizing themselves by insisting on attacking others in their own party. Also, people like that take positions that are too extreme or avoid the notion of compromise, which is vital for a government like ours.

Well all the people you mentioned were in fact elected. People want a President that has a personality. Its sad really.

Just look back and see which Presidents people consider to be "good" or "great" ones , they all basically were the ones with personality. The "bad" ones are the ones that didn't have a "good" personality or were the subdued types
