I have a co-worker who is very nice; however, she seems to think that I want to have a personal conversation (mostly about her) first thing in the morning anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour -- no lie. I think she finally got the hint because I started giving her the cold shoulder and ignoring her. I got so sick and tired of it. I don't mind goofing off every now and then, but not every single morning when we both get in.

A co-worker, who is a good friend of mine, will listen to what I have to say for about...mmm,...5 minutes and then she switches the topic to HER life and goes on and on and on...and on.....about it. Then, when I try switching the topic back to me...she pretends to have a "dumb blonde" moment and doesn't remember what I had said the first time I started talking.
I can't stand it!!!

I used to work with someone similar - she was a manic depressive and used to come in every morning and spout off about all her problems. She was nearly always tearful too, so I used to get wary of saying anything incase she burst into tears. She never did any work in the morning - just talked and talked to anyone who would listen about her problems (usually me cos I'm weak!).
It really dragged me down in the end too - she was one of the main reasons I left the job. I don't mind chatting to colleagues every now and again, but I am not a personal agony aunt!

Oh, yeah, almost five years now. Every time you say that something happened to you, it happened to her, only worse. We were talking about Black Friday and our boss was saying that he got into a fight with someone in the Staples' parking lot. Then others were saying that it was the same in other places, but she said it was the worst at Target, where she was. Naturally.
Also, she likes to screw around while I'm on my lunch break, then say something about how she did something to "help" me in some way, then leave a half-hour early, leaving me with the bulk of the work to catch up on myself. She does this to both me and the guy who takes my place on my days off.
Oh, and she only has one front tooth showing and drinks Pepsi all day. Her hair is ugly and messy.

I worked with a girl who made me want to rip her stupid ugly face off. She was so weird and dumb. One time there was rag weed blowing around outside, and she got everyone to look out the window because she wanted to know why bubbles were floating around outside. Her job performance sucked too. Also, she talked all the time about this miscarriage she had. She would say the baby's name, and talk about him, as if he had lived. When she gets older she is going to be one of those freaks who carry a baby doll around with her out in public.

yes, mostly because she doesn't take responsibility for her work, and her jobs. We all do our work and we do help each other out, but when someone is constantly trying to dump more and more of their work on you that's when I get annoyed. We have worked out that it is actually because she doesn't know how to do a task, and as she has been there so long she is too embarrassed to admit she doesn't know how to do it, so rather than ask she will just leave it and leave it til one of us gets so peed off that we just do it. Vicious circle.

I used to be in a job where this disgusting guy I used to work with, gave me dirty looks all the time.I felt really uncomfortable around him, but it turns out when I talked about it to people that knew him too, he looks at all women like they're naked. Thank God I don't work there anymore.

Yes the OTHER secretary..... she eats ice all day long and the crunching sound is VERY ANNOYING!!!! LOL
