"Zero Woman 3" (1996, Japan) is my pick. The first one from 1974 isn't bad, but the series really got going with #2 in 1995. There are 9 of them now. The heroine is a woman without a past who kills for Zero Department. She is like 007 minus 07. Her name is Rei, and that means zero in Japanese. In #3, we get an inkling of her hidden past. Her father was a policeman who caught his wife in bed with another man and shot them and then himself. theis daughter was young then and traumatized. She removed her father's life support and let him die. Evidently, a police captain took her and reared her to be a mindless assassin for a new department he thought was needed. If she ever had a name, she forgot it and was just called "Zero". Beautiful takeda kumiko is Rei in #3. Sexy ozawa natsuki is rei in #2. sugimoto miki is between the others

The Legion's Last Patrol starring Stewart Granger, made in 1962, B/W. A really good film, unfortunately it is unavailable on video or d.v.d.As far as I know, it's never been shown on t.v.
