Well, I will try to answer this complex question. .

Generally speaking, those people who hawk consperacy theories have something to gain by their theories. For example, writing books, appearing on Television or radio and a host of other reasons.

There is a paradigm called ocams razor. Basically it states that the simplest explanation is usually the truth. . Consider the crashed alien space ship. . now we as humans are pretty intelligent creatures. . . if we have such a ship, why are we still using rockets to put satellites in orbit. . . why are we still using missiles to destroy ships or planes.. wouldn't such a ship have some sort of "energy ray" for protection? what about a force field to protect the ship as it went through space? Do you honestly think that if there were that big of a cover up, that more people would have come forward with proof and not just a few nuts with outrageous allegations?

If the United States had cures for viruses and such, it would have much more to gain by disseminating this information than keeping it secret?

And let us consider for a moment the number of people who claim to have been the victim of alien abduction. . .Not one of these could pilfer something from the ship to prove they were there? Do you honestly believe that aliens would use technology to cross the vast distances of space just to give all these people an anal probe?? Some of these people claim that they were implanted with objects, but none have been recovered? I mean honestly, do you think that aliens with that sort of technology would have that much trouble or interest in the sex organs and anal passages of humans??

Look at where this stuff comes from, and see who stands to gain. . .

I find it hard to believe anyone that can't spell Lying correctly. I believe that there is life on other planets. But there is no hard evidence that they have ever come here.
