Ok well, I just turned 15 and my last period was in June, in the summer. My previous periods (which i started when i was 14) were very light and didn't give me cramps at all. I'm totally freaking out because I don't want anything to NOT let me have kids =[ i really want kids later on after college. Oh and I'm not pregnant, I'm a virgin...so yeah. Help?

as you get older your body would adjust to having a reguler monthly cycle, but its best to go to your dr and get check out, when I was your age the same thing was happening to me an all my dr said was as I get older it'll become reguler but it never came, I ended up being diagnois with pcos so make sure your dr check you out to make sure your not diagnois with pcos

some things that can stop your periods:

If you are a very active athelete
if you are anorexic
hormonal imbalances
tumors on your pituitary gland
tumors on your ovaries
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
stress

tell your mom and have her make an appointment with the gyno for you. As the others said, this was your first year and it may be nothing to worry about.

My first period was at age 12, it was very light and lasted 3 days, then I didn't bleed again for a little over a year.

Good Luck.

It's very common to have irregular periods when it's your first year of menstruating. Especially when you feel healthy overall there is nothing to worry about. I am 27 years old and had recently 6 months between my periods, I've never had regular periods and I don't worry about it either. Not all women have regular periods, some get only regular when they are in love (so it can be an emotional thing, doesn't have to be a sign that something is wrong)
As long as you eat and live healthy, there is nothing to worry about.

It's probably just that it's still your first year or so and your body is getting used to things. Have you gained or lost weight recently? This can mess up your cycle, as can periods of emotional stress, sickness, basically anything that disrupts the balance of your body.

I wouldn't be too worried about it, but, by the same token, its not a terrible idea to visit a gyn. as she will be able to check you out, give you a pap smear, make sure everything is normal and maybe put you on the pill to ensure regular menstruation.
