Is there some ways that the justice system can that prosecutorial misconduct.

Ask the prosecutor of the Duke University rape case.

His misconduct cost him his job, his license to practice law, and possbly his freedom.

What better prevention can you think of?

simple answer, ethical prosecutors. . But perhaps if each office of a prosecuting attorneys had a internal review process whereby all agents of that office are constantly under review. .

Criminal penalties and sanctions for violations would be good as well.

this was one of the reasons the hate crimes laws were instituted, it allows the federal government to oversee local crime issues when the local officials do not take the proper actions

many states have similar laws so they can oversee thier own local issues also
