I started gym recently. I can see my abs are developing asymmetrical. What can be the reason. On the right, first cut starts just below chest and on the left it starts little lower.

How can I recover this? It is in initial stage.

---|__ 1st ab
---|__ 2nd ab_____(Left Side)
__|__ 3 rd ab

Above is rough diagram.

Please help me.

Most peoples bodies are asymetrical. It is not a physiological problem, nor is it even an aesthetic one. (One of the most aesthetically pleasing structures on the planet is the Parthenon, and it's visual proportionality is actually an optical illusion.) Think of your body in those terms and give thanks that it functions well enough that you have the capacity to work out in the first place. No one's body is perfect, it is all about how one presents oneself with a sense of confidence.

sometimes... it really is not as what we expect our body to be... i guess i also have asymmetrical ones... (no, i do not have deep cuts... even before..)

well... that is genetic... so, the best you can do... is try to make you abdominal exercises as proper as possible...

be confident with what you have... it is not in the perfect abs that you can be happy... as long as you look good... what does it matter right?

the cuts are defined by the striations in your abs... you cannot avert that other than have surgery... which is still not good...

I think they look pretty hot :):) But ah maybe try doing the plank exercise instead of crunches. Do different Ab exercises to what you normally do? I dont know to be honest i dont think you need too.
