I love to read! As a little girl I was stuck in bed sick for a while and my mother always brought me piles of books to read to keep me amused. I loved hearing about nature and colorful animal tales. As an adult I began to love history and researched many of the presidents of the U.S. I enjoyed biographies because they gave me a better insight into the lives of others.. I just love learning and feel that I can travel all over the world by reading of different places and different people through books. In the evening when my kids were younger that was my time to relax and read for a while. Now, I often read a short while before work or later in the evening if I'm not too tired. My love of reading has never diminished!

Yup - particularly material about the practice of medicine in the Nineteenth Century during the American Civil War. I also subscribe to The Nation, Skeptical Enquirer, Skeptic, The Progressive. Freethought and my local newspaper. I read QST magazine and WorldRadio magazine, both specifically geared to Amateur (ham) Radio operators - one of my favorite activities.

If I have to read for school or something, the only way I can enjoy it is if I actually like the book. If it's my type of book, I can't put it down! If I'm told to read, when im reading I always get side trackted.
So i think to ansewr your question I would say:
I like to read, but only if it's a book I enjoy.
