She allegedly died of a drug overdose, but conspiracy theories say that she was murdered by FBI agents who thought that her affair with JFK would damage his career. What do YOU think?

I think it was a conspiracy, she was too close to "power" and probably knew too much too. Read my link . .I found it to be very interesting.

I follow the principles of Ockham's Razor and KISS. Conspiracy theroies are always nonsense. I read a book by Dr. Thomas Noguchi the "Coroner to the Stars" that told about his autopsies of Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, etc. He saw no evidence that MM's death was anything but an overdose of sleeping pills that ould have been taken deliberately for suicide or accidentally. Some of those barbiturates were easy to take in excess. JFK had affairs with dozens of women. Someone said in an article about presidents' lovers that JFK had more than all other presidents combined. If the FBI had killed all of his lovers, there would have been few women left alive in the USA. This whole so-called "theory" makes no sense at all.

I believe in the conspiracy theories... poor Marilyn, I have the impression she didn't know a lot of happy times.

I know she had problems in her life and was unhappy (especially with her romantic failures), but I do think that the government had something to do with her death as she was getting too close to JFK.

I dont know really... But I think it was sad that she died... She had so much of her life of movies and acting ahead of her. Its very sad and wish it never happened.
