My mom always said , a place for everything and everything in it's place which used to drive me up the wall when I was a teenager and now I find myself doing the same thing. Another was birds of a feather flock together and you reap what you sow which I find myself saying a lot also.

I never got along very well with my mother, but her favourite saying was "you'll never regret the things you do, but you'll regret the things you neglect to do". I've found that this is true, and always try to do something rather than doing nothing.

You took my answer. The dollar store stuff is not always just as good. Mom also said if you tell the truth you won`t have trouble remembering what you said.

My mom always used to say, "You can't win 'em all". That's
so true. In fact, you can't win any of them. I say this now to
my kids. It's even more true now than it was when I was a kid.

Count your change when given back to you. Trust me, today I watch the scanner on sale items and count my change. Most younger people can't count back change they just hand it to you and I think that is terrible. There's something psychological
about having the technique to count back change!!!

Watch what you say and do because "Your chickens will come home to roost." And my mother was always right.

My mother used to say "what goes over your back, comes under your belly."
That was, kind of, her description of karma.
