No unfortunately we are far apart. As kids were were very poor and very close on the farm. Had to make our own fun. Now we all live too far away and lead busy lives. We did have great fun as all 5 of us kids had lots of room to run and play.

We had three girls and 2 boys. I am the oldest. My sister (15 months younger than I) and I were close until we got older-more about distnace than anything else. My best friend is now my youngest sister (8 years younger) who I don't even remember existing as a child. Not funny, but we girls had been rather estranged from our brothers for years until our father got Alzheimers about 4 years ago (he just died in Jan) that drew us all closer and we have maintained that closesness. Until 5 years ago when I moved away we lived within a 1 mile radius of each other and our parents. Our children all grew up together and were (and still are) each others best friends and our kids treat us all as surrogate parents.

To the 2nd answer... WTF... How does using a hookah mean you will have sex early? That makes no sense... My question to you, asker, is do your 6 and 14 year old children ever see people smoking cigarettes? Your daughter is 18, so she is an adult. She is alloewd to smoke hookah if she wants to... You can decide not to let them do it in the house (which I would obviously recommend since there are other people living there, children especially), or you as the parent can just say no, not at our house.. if she wants to smoke hookah she can go somewhere else. Yes, it is a bad influence for her siblings to see her smoking anything. If someone who just turned 18 already has a hookah that you know about, I don't think you guys are too conservative as parents in the first place. And FYI to everyone who thinks you only smoke pot out of a hookah... think again. They make hookah tobacco in all flavors. I enjoy smoking hookah occasionally... it's really relaxing, and has nothing to do with 'getting high'.

My older brother by a year and six days and I have always been close and the humorous stories are too numerous to remember a particular story. My youngest sibling is my sister 9years younger. We have always been close up until she had to adopt two of her oldest son's kids because he couldn't take care of them then she changed and is more distant. My younger brother by 3 years has always been an idiot. Even today he is going through his 2nd childhood for the 4th time with a wife 25 years younger and a brand new baby. No income to speak of and moving to Ft. Collins, Colorado. See he is still an idiot.

I'm the oldest of four - have one sister and two younger brothers. We get along pretty well now that we're older. Except that one brother, he can be an opinionated son of a something but we just stop the conversations when he gets too bad.
My sister was always bringing home some critter or another. She had an Amazon parrot - JoJo. My father kept telling her it swore too much, but she'd never heard it. One day I was visiting home and I heard JoJo squawking at volume level. My father yelled "Shut Up" and the bird replied "F*%%#% you". I about fell down the stairs in shock and laughter. JoJo didn't live there much longer.
My brothers bought my mom some red roses for Mother's Day one year. I stopped by and saw them and told the boys it was nice, but asked Mom why she had them in water. She and they looked at me like I'd lost my mind. The flowers were silk and none of them knew it.

Me and my sibs are really close. We all live within 5 miles of each other in the town we grew up, we are only two years apart in age, we do a lot together. I am the youngest out of me, my sister and brother. My sister and i once broke my brother's nose. He was chasing us and we slammed the door in his face and broke it. Hilarious! lol Wasn't funny at the time though. Needless to say, he learned not to mess with us.

I have one sibling who went to Viet Nam
and came home a drunkard. He drank
about 10 years then got up, poured his
coffee and dropped dead.
I have another sibling who bilked my
mother out of $70,000 (for drugs) before
she died and I believe is still in the Federal Pen for drug trafficing.
My one half sister is still in a depressed state and thinks she is the
"victim" in every circumstance because
her father supposedly molested her
repeatedly...So said a hypnotist.
Needless to say, I have had no
contact with any of my "siblings" in
many years. Oh, was it supposed to be funny?
