String garland (gold looks good on almost any room) at the top your wall, all the way around the room. Take some white lights and string them in with the garland. Buy long gold candles at the dollar store and candle holders (you can find Christmas holders now there) and bunch them together on all the tables (3 or 4 on each table).
You make Wreaths for your friends. Buy the plain green wreaths at Walmart (about $2.00 each) and decorate with ribbon and puffy glitter glue and bows.
Organize a school or neigborhood toy drive. That will really get you in the Christmas mood.

Making salt dough ornaments is a little messy but fun! There are lots of country craft decorations that you can make at home.
I like making paper snow flakes and taping string to a few of them and hang them from the cieling. It looks like it's snowing giant snoflakes inside! You can even get craft foil and do the same thing and get sparkely snow flakes!
Have fun and Merry Christmas!

How about going to church? It's free (unless you want to make a donation), and gives you an idea of why we celebrate Christmas.
