Help with money translator.?

I want to buy something that is 7.00 in the UK which I think they use pounds, and I live in America. How much would that be in American Dollars? (I'm buying off E-Bay.)

If you're sure it's Great British pound, then
7.00 GBP = 14.4522 USD
and if it's Euro,
7.00 EUR = 10.3189 USD

Rates change all the time. Ebay may set its own rates. These are just indicative rates.

From my calculations with an on-line converter, England uses the Euro and you purchase is about $10.50.
