Viagra-And It's Effects?

Question

I was once told that if you take Viagra you will be walking around with an erection for around twelve hours-even though you may have done your dirty deed.

But yesterday I was talking to someone who (alledgedly) takes Viagra and he told me something different-if you get sexually aroused within this twelve hour period then you will get an erection but eventually it will 'calm down'

And again if you get aroused it will get erect again!

What is the truth in this?

it gets soft once you ejaculate
If someone has got an erection that lasts more that 4hrs he must seek immediate medical help.
It is called a priapism.
There are also Cialis and Levitra.
Cialis and Levitra are newer drugs than Viagra, altough all 3 have same effect. I prefer Cialis myself.
Cialis can last even up to 36 hrs, but in my system it stays up to 30 hrs. And that does not mean that I have ongoing erection for these 30 hrs, it means that it is much easier for me to get a repeat erection when I see something sexy that normally turns me on.
But it is very individual and nobody can predict which of these 3 is the best choice for you. For me cialis works best. I have tried viagra and cialis so far. Viagra gave me a headache sometimes and sometimes a weird feeling the next morning (hard to explain what exactly) cialis has no side effects for me so far, altough I think that the erections viagra gave me were somehow more intense.
Just go to your doc for a free sample pack of all 3 - viagra cialis and levitra and you will discover what works and what is not working for you.

Sometimes I am suprised at how uninformed and ignorant people are...then I realize I am in yahoo answers.

Fact: Viagra will not give you an erection if you are not sexually aroused.

Fact: Viagra will give you a very strong/hard erection if you are sexually aroused.

If you have difficulty achieving a full hard erection or difficulty maintaining an erection during sex, Viagra is a great pill.

On an emply stomach Viagra will take effect in as little as 20 minutes. On a full stomach, it make take up to an hour and it's effects may be somewhat lessened. Viagra is at it's best between 1 and 2 hours after swallowing. It's effect can last up to 4 hours.

Besides Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are also effective. It's a matter of personal preference.

The truth is it will affect each person differently. I tried it and the affect was zero, nil, nothing. It made me stuffy nosed and my eye's felt like they had pressure behind them. That was the extent of my erection!! The one that told you about the twelve hour erection was full of manure. The one that told you if you get aroused in the given 12 hours period is more like it, and that would be pushing it. If I remember right it states if you get an erection that last 4or 6 hrs go to the hospital for treatment. What it does is damage the veins that supply blood to the penis, thus they use a needle to remove blood from the penis. Good Luck hope this helped answer your question. So I think your buddy is telling the truth.

it effects people different, some no reaction at all
it changes the blood flow, but NO you will not walk around for hours(LOL) with an erection.... mood and feelings have allot to do with it also

no need to panic. generally it ts action starts when u starts thinking about sex . But in very rare case u can have the prob .of erection for longer time
