Whats the point of telling US citizens they can't have certain weapons? Gun laws don't protect anyone. If a criminal wants to kill someone with a machine gun, then no law can stop him. He will do it anyways, regardless of what the law says. Gun laws only keep certain guns out of the hands of people who wouldn't misuse them anyways. So whats the point?

Liberals love gun laws because of their obsession with controlling the lives of other people, gun laws have nothing to do with protecting anyone.

Every year people who are otherwise sane hard working people, grab their weapons, their bottles of booze, get drunk and go to the woods and kill or wound themselves, their friends or family, or other innocent bystanders.
It's tradition 'by golly'
In an area close to Mobile, Alabama a weapons owner went to the woods to site in his new rifle, missed a tree, the bullet went a mile, throught the side of a trailor, through the head of a 3-year old, and out the other side of the trailor. The little boys mother was sitting on a couch watching tv when this so called 'tragic accident' occured.

I am a small arms expert, trained in the military years ago. I have always supported laws that keep guns away from idiots.
Thanks

Your partly right. If someone really wants to kill someone then he will. But if there were no gun laws then everybody would probably have a gun in which chase there will surely be more crime. Just think of what people could do if everybody would have guns.

It looks good on the news when Senator Blowhard tells his constituents that he is responsible ''for passing tough gun-control legislation'' to protect the hard-working people of his state.
