so many people, retailers, etc feel the need to take Christ out of Christmas? do they not know that Christ is our savior and not x? i could understand if maybe it was maybe malcolm x, but it is not!! it is Jesus Christ...if they do not want to use His name, then they should not be celebrating CHRISTmas at all!! it is not about presents. it is about celebrating the birth of Jesus!! so, could we please keep Christ in CHRISTmas for those of us who actually celebrate HIM?

You're exactly right! It is unbelievable to me how CHRISTmas has changed & what it has turned into. Now, it's all about shopping, spending, the best sales, "I want", "Get ME",etc. It's sickening. I refuse to be a part of the crowd. Even if you don't spend one red cent, & you celebrate Jesus, then that's CHRISTmas.

yes... i strongly agree... i'm a student... and as one.... we were thought to keep hold firm in our faith... i, as a christian, believes that we need to celebrate it with Christ because without Christ, we are also nothing... other people shouldn't argue with us who has these kind of beliefs, instead, they can believe on whatever they want.... but the only word i can leave these people who doesn't believe in Christmas and everything is that, Christmas is a time of giving, we should share our blessings to the people we love and especially those in need... yes, we can do it even though it is not Christmas... let's just keep in mind that God is always watching us, He still respected whatever decision we had made by the time His Son, Jesus was crucified....

Happy Christmas!

I agree with you. It is the greed that is killing the Christmas spirit. A lot of people only ask their kids what they want for Christmas, and not teach them the real meaning of Christmas. Sad.

Yes, you're right. That's why I'm discouraging my friends and other family members not to use "x" for Christmas.. ;-) It's our Savior's birthday so It must be respected. ;-)

Sadly, this is yet another "sign of the times" in which we live! The antichrist BIAS in our nation is growing, as it is around the world! But this is as God said it would be in His word (the Bible!) And regardless of what the heathen say or do, we must STILL uphold the Biblical standard of TRUTH AND RIGHTEOUSNESS! The whole reason these retailers, the Government, the ACLU (Anti Christ Lucifer Union), and all of the WACKED OUT atheists, humanists, etc want to ELIMINATE Christ and the Bible from ALL vestiges of our society and culture is summed up in what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:4- "In whom the god of this world [Satan!] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." And also, "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Corinthians 2:14)

The whole reason these poor fools fight so hard against Jesus and His word is because IT REMINDS THEM OF THEIR DIVINE APPOINTMENT! It's called PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY! They can't stand the thought of BEING JUDGED BY ALMIGHTY GOD! So they live by the philosophy, "Out of sight, out of mind", thinking that by their vehement OPPOSITION to God, they will somehow ESCAPE THE INEVITABLE! This, however, can NEVER be, for "it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27)

CHRISTmas reminds them that THEIR DAYS ARE NUMBERED! And if they refuse to REPENT AND BELIEVE, they will be DAMNED IN HELL FOR EVER! Because the whole reason "Christ Jesus came into the world" was "to save sinners" (1 Timothy 1:15) He is willing to save "whosoever will" be saved (Revelation 22:17). But that means HUMBLING YOURSELF FROM YOUR STINKIN' LOUSY SELF-SUFFICIENT PRIDE and ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR SINFULNESS IN THE SIGHT OF A HOLY GOD and CALLING ON JESUS TO SAVE YOU FROM YOUR SINS! And for the depraved, wicked sinner, this is just "too much" to deal with!

All I can say is, Sister, PREACH ON! Just keep on taking a bold stand for the Lord! And PRAISE GOD for that! God bless you, Miss Daisy!

because they want to be able to get the $$ from not christians, that's why they call it X-Mas and say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas.

if they want to be "politically correct", they should mention every holiday not exclude them from the greetings

I agree very much with you. Last week I wrote a letter to the editor of our local newspaper about that very issue.

I also teach Religion Education classes.

That's all we could do really...Spread the word!!!

Good question!!!!

How exactly to do you know that Jesus was born on Dec 25th? It is not a Biblical fact you know.
