Definitely, not. I buy books from authors I like or based on reviews from reputable sources. In choosing books, what's important is the story not the cover, unless you just want to display those books in your house.

Sometimes a cover is the first thing that attracts me. But I have never bought a book without first reading (and liking!) the plot summary. I can say I am proud to have read each and every book in my personal motley genre collection.

Sometimes. Especially when the book is about movies. I used to frequent many libraries when I was a young boy. The first book I look for are those with pictures of Hollywood actresses and movies that I have never seen, or will ever see, cuz it was expensive to go to moviehouses.

Yeah, unfortunately I always judge a book by its cover, thats the reason I buy them, usually cos its sparkly or something. If I've read it and it was rubbish, I'm not influenced by the cover then!

I do on children's books because the cover will give you some idea of the illustrations on the inside.

i get fooled a lot of times by the attractive book cover when actually it is a lousy book.

sometimes... if the book's cover is very artistic in some ways, then it also shows how interesting the content it has...

Well for me I look at the table of content's to see the chapter's.Then I read the little section on the inside cover and back.If it doesn't keep me glued then its history.

No,the kind of literature I like usually don't have a fancy cover,same way with people,glitter and glam doesn't do it for me
