I just got a new game Battlefield Vietnam and while playing the game i heard the Vietnamese's propaganda mentioning some man G. I. Jones (not sure if spelling is right) who is he? Oh yeah, and the game is about the war in Vietnam.

Its probably G.I. (General Infantry) Joe being said wrong.

The US soldiers have frequently been called GI's by people and the nickname GI Joe seems to have stuck at points as well.

He's probably saying G.I. Joe with a Vietnamese accent.

G.I Joe.When I was little a half century ago girls got to play with Barbie dolls but boys got G.I. Joe. He was a super cool action figure,not a doll. But us girls would steal him so Barbie could date Ken and G.I. Joe.
