Swimming is perfectly fine, just for hygienic reasons, please use a tampon! If you are swimming in shark-infested waters, I might hesitate! You could be advertising yourself as bait! I would hesitate to swim in shark-infested waters any time of the month, though!
The myth that you shouldn't swim or bath during your period is as old as the hills! Surely you shower or bathe, so what's the difference? Put a cork in it, so to speak, and have fun!

Yes you can go swimming if you want to, I go all the time and I find it very relaxing.
All you need to do is use a tampon and not a towel and it will be fine.
I hope this helps!

Yes, as long as you wear a tampon or moon/diva cup.

Not using a tampon or cup will mean you will bleed into the water (your flow does not stop nor does it slow down, it only gets dispersed into the water).

Of course we can. You take showers and baths during this time!! Actually, swimming is great during this time because it stretches the muscles and eases the cramping.

You can if you want, but in all honesty, just like showers the water tends to "Stop" your period for awhile before it starts up again. I find it lasts shorter, I don't know why.

It is possible but for hygiene purposes I guess it would be best to avoid since it is the time where it is more vulnerable or suceptible to bacterias...

Taking a bath is important though.....
