It's good to know the past of your partner, but do not judge them on it.Most of the time our pasts are filled with mistakes we've made and bad decisions we've made.So just be sure you don't hold his past over his head in your relationship now once you know about it.And don't throw it back in his face every chance you get when there is an arguement.

ask him to ask you to grow up and get a life. he is your "best friend" but you dont know anything about his past. if he hasnt told you be now after seven yrs he is not going too. you have missed the window of opportunity to ask all those type of questions and you certainly should have known prior to marriage. give me a break. Mind your own business. If he wants to tell you anything about his past he will. If it is important and relevant to something important, he will tell you. Until then mind your business. There's a saying....."let sleeping dog lie", which means..it happened in the past, keep it in the past.

You're going to marry a guy that was in a gang? That should tell you all you need to know. Good luck.

Don't play games. Tell him you want someone that is direct and honest and has no problem with that either.

Dont. Your past is there in the past for a reason. Leave it there.

I think its a mistake. Let sleeping dogs lie, you don't need to know this stuff.
