You haven't really told about the price.

Light less than 2kg laptops start after Rs50000.

I will suggest that you buy an hp 12' tx1000 laptop. It is really cool will the best of entertainment features and a tablet PC functionality.

wireless features are available these days in all laptops.

If you ca spent a bit more money, go for VAIO SZ. It is the real light weight laptop.

Well, yes just make sure you get one featuring Intel's newest Centrino Duo technology. With its outstadning thermal abilities, it allows great performance in a small package, without the worries of overheating or poor battery life. And of course, Centrino always features the latest and greatest wireless technology, making it an oustanding performer, and a great price.

Is that pretty much the kind of cheesy plug you were looking for. Seriously, if you really are an official representative of Intel, this kind of lame advertising really makes me think less of your company.

Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965 AGN (802.11a/g/n)
or
Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card

and it is featured in systems as light as 1.7 lbs or 0.77 kgs
a nice case in point would be the 'Toshiba Portege R500'

but then i see that the bulky 11 lbs or 5 kg monsters also feature the same ditto wireless cards

and now i am hopelessly confused
never knew wifi cards were bulky, power guzzlers or fire spitting stuff ... the kind associated with graphics cards

and i am answering an 'Intel OFFICIAL' . . . !!!

Buy from a multi brand vendor. Check out all the options possible within your budget. I think you can check out a VAIO or an HP notebook.
