Something nice see what you mom is wearing, and try to make sure that your colors look nice with hers.

Ask the photographer what color the background will be. A nice sweater or blouse will be fine; just make sure your colors don't clash.

Go to glamour shots and let them choose for you, they are great at it! And then take one that's just everyday you and her just as you are!
